Aéto was founded by Allison English and Tim Oldman in 2024 as a spin off from Leesman, the world’s leading independent workplace experience measurement and benchmarking tool.

Whilst at Leesman, the onset of the pandemic prompted clients to seek guidance around hybrid work, data-driven space planning and understanding how variables like attendance and commute impacted employee workplace experience. Leesman built a small team to support this work, and those team members became the foundation of the Aéto team.

Since then, we have conducted an in-depth post occupancy evaluation on Manhattan’s newest skyscraper, helped an Australian organisation have a data-driven workplace strategy for a new South American office, written the experience brief for a new office in Hyderabad, and are guiding a client to build an AI-powered insights engine. And that's just scratching the surface; our clients are literally making us up as we go along.

As a small team of super-specialists based across the UK and Netherlands, London is our home base, but we work with clients on projects that span the globe.

Our work is always grounded in evidence. We believe workplace is not simply a real estate or a design question; it is a strategic business tool. When thoughtfully conceived and effectively delivered, we have seen and measured how workplace can enable productivity, strengthen culture and brand, support wellbeing, and help organisations adapt to the changing patterns of work.
